One billonaire alone could plug an 18 billion budget deficit like the one in Texas.
Texas' problem is that it's billionaires are milking the system not being responsible and reinvesting in the communities on large scales. It is ususally token scales after they've gotten some sweet deal or giveaway that they figure they'd give a smiggen back.
I wish Buffet and Gates would invest in every border like city and get it into the 21 century (or at least give the Texas billionaires a good talking to to invest where they make their fortunes). Direct investment in water , infrastructure, housing, quality of life improvements that would benefit society not just hoard it and plant puppet politicians to get more for themselves (bailouts, no bid contracts , crony deals, outrageous rate hikes, etc).
These two are the exception to corporate raiders (MAYBE) but local communities (instead of foreign countries) need it just as bad. The insurance industry alone could pay off the national deficit (they have trillions to invest), a university system endownment alone could pay off three states' deficit and then sum. The private community is sitting on PILES. One bank company like Wells Fargo has enough profits to take every person to lunch and pay off their home taxes in the US.
One oil industry barron could easily afford 20 Billion to clean up their preventable oil spill (as BP is doing) imagine an industry or entire GDP producers simply putting 1% of profits to close up the deficit.

All this poor corporate America nonsense denying American people healthcare, affordable education, affordable energy is a scam of the greatest proportions and GOP just blows their horn. GOP is obsolete.
And these titans are the same ones with puppet GOP politicians who do their bidding and get everything in their favor while people are told to fend for themself. How 'bout corporate America fend for themself without rigging the political system, operating independently, ethically, and responsibly.

No more Wall St. Melt downs, BP , Valdez, automobile catastophes, dumping, war contract profiteers and tax payers paying the bill .

Tax payers should be getting their money invested in their own quality of life improvements not CEO bonuses, pocket lining, bailouts for irresponsible billionaire industries.
