Blockbuster Glitch: anyone else dealing with this?

My whole queue is locked up.

They havent sent a movie in more than week. This is the first time I think Blockbuster has failed me with their service. I did call customer service and manage to get through with a operator who was cordial and understand But still the problem isn't fixed.

So what happened to BB's queue system? Did they break it from the few million who signed on recently?

I have been a customer for 2 years and hae not had a movie in my q for a week. I am unable to reach them by phone. It's always busy

I have also encountered the same problem. Finally got through and they said the same thing that no movies had shipped for the last week. Very surprising the news services have not picked up on this.

I had the same thing happen. I'm on the 3 out plan, I have 3 empty slots, and no dvds have shipped in 8 days.

I first contacted customer service by email. They replied "I have personally reported this incident to the proper departments so that a slot in your shipped movies list will be freed for allocation of a new item from your queue" and sent 2 coupons. But didn't fix the problem.

I phoned (800-692-2789) and they said this was due to a "computer glitch" and gave me 2 free weeks. Promised that movies would ship next day or day after. This did not happen. And think about it, "2 free weeks" is really just an illusory offer, because its 2 free weeks of ... nothing! no movies shipping!

I emailed again and got a reply blaming ME for only having 26 available titles in my queue! WTF!

CLASS ACTION TIME!

Haven't received a movies since 2-19, customer service, humph, promises of coupons not received, no movies shipped yet. looks bad for blockbuster

Steve, just call them friday after the peak hours. They will probably give you a few weeks free of service and some coupons.

Kat, that's a b.s. excuse (As you probably know) I have over 900 dvd's in my queue.

Netflixx is close to getting my business because of this one. They didn't even send an email telling subscribers what happened..

Here's an update:

After close to 2 weeks Blockbuster finally sent my dvd's on the list. If I received them, that means you should get them on or around the same day. I live in Maine so I know about time delays.

BB came so close to losing my business. If Netflixx lowered their monthly subscription for 3 to 15 with tax, I would go with them in a heartbeat. That's what I think is going to happen as things heat up in this war.

Try renting movies at dvdsgamers.com . They have terrific service. Highly recommended.

I have not had access to my queue since they sent out the mail that they were changing their service, i.e., increasing the prices. If anyone starts a class action lawsuit, contact me via this forum! They have totally ignored my letters in Dallas to the CEOs, all I get are apologies and no action. I have over 900 movies in my queue and they say that the limit is 900 and I will have access when it falls below 900. I do not believe them. I think they are trying to get me to pay more by closing account. What a disappointment that I invested so much time into building the queue to have this happen. The good news is, there are many more who rent movies via mail. Many more! Netflix is the best by far but Amazon and all the others are getting just as good and definitely all are better than Blockbuster. I would walk away in a heart beat if I could take my queue with me.

If you are debating choosing btw Netflix and Blockbuster, go with Netflix. Blockbuster is a dishonest, disloyal company to do business with and do not care about their customers!!! Spread the word.

I couldn't have put it better myself. They expelled me from my account. have reported them to the Better Business Bureau . Im sure not a thing will come out of that . are still waiting on them to respond as usual .

Plan is 2 at a time. Started only getting one at a time. Got free coupons, but the blockbuster stores are closing in my area. does me no good. Now I have an empty queue for two days with movies listed as "available" just sitting there. I reported this a month ago and still not fixed. Cancelling at the end of my billing period so NETFLIX here I come!
