Recently I am getting a error everytime I try to delete movies from my queue. I did fill it up to the limit so I have to delete some to add some. I tried to delete some titles today and I keep getting error script. Is the Queue breaking down or is it just my computer technical difficulties?
Am i the only one this is happening to? |

I just called and people are reporting queue script error troubles because of maintenance.

I have had that error for a month now and have reported it several times. Still no luck getting rid of the error and need to delete the movies I rent at the store.

Blockbuster has denied my access since July 27th when they came out with their new plan and increased prices. I have called Customer Service, written letters to the CEOs at Elm Street in Dallas and sent numerous emails to Customer Support with no results. I think I just got screwed. I would love to file a class action lawsuit against them. They just do not care. Thankfully, there is still Amazon, Netflix and a multitude of others. The thing is the time that I spent in building the queue. Lots of wasted hours.

I can't access my queue for about a week now. I've called it in and the customer representative said they are working on the issue. I think Blockbuster is throttling down my DVD rental, this is ridiculous if it has taken them a week to fix an internal error.
There must be other people experiencing this issue. Let's band together and complain to the Commerce Department. This is an injustice! |

I've been without access to my queue from mid December and it continues into 2009. Repeated complaints go without any real response other then the stock nonsense and typical BB stall tactics of not answering your question, but providing an answer to the question that BB prefers to answer. They should be investigated.

My Blockbuster queue has had the following message appear in my Movies Shipped box:
To have movies shipped, just make sure you have added movies to your queue that are Available Now. There's nothing else to do. We will ship your next available DVDs within 1 business day. But there are movies in my queue.. and they are "Available". I think Blockbuster is in trouble and this is one way to save money.. keep collecting my monthly fee but not send movies. I asked the clerk at the store and he said they have been experiencing 'issues'. Evasive. Hmmmm.... |

I have not had access to my queue at BlockBuster for 3 weeks now. Support either doesn't answer or they say it is fixed but it continues. It started mid December and continues into January. Movies are showing up that I do not want. Also, cracked movies show up and I have no way to report them without access to my queue. It has been taking BlockBuster a week to turn one DVD around. I've been with BlockBuster for the past few years. My monthly fees go up while the services continue to go down. To top that off, BlockBusters web site (when running correctly) is VERY SLOW. I often get time-out erros just trying to load pages. I never had these problems with Netflex. I'm going back to netflex.

Go NETLFLEX. Tard.

I've *heard* that they are having problems with their Cleveland Distribution center...I'm having the same issue as you are. They thing is, its been going on for 2+ weeks now....you'd think it'd be fixed by now.

Now it is January 21st, and I still can not access my queue. That means I have been locked out of my queue for over a month. I asked Blockbuster if they would kick out some of the DVDs at the top of my queue for me snice I have no control and do not want them. They say that can't do that either. For far to long they kept responding with a canned message saying, "I apologize for the inconvenience on your queue. can understand your frustration about not being able to access your queue due to an error. I am sorry to learn that you are having problems accessing your queue. This issue has already been escalated to a dedicated technical team and they are currently working on having this issue resolved. Rest assured that we are working on it." YEAH RIGHT! Come on, what does it take to fix an internet problem? Certainly a month should have done it right? NOT. |

I have been having probems with the Cleveland Distribution center for over a month now. I have about 40 available movies in my queue and they can't seem to ship me any. I was wondering if they were throttling or if something else was wrong with their operation. Today (3/3/09) I read this on the news wire:
Blockbuster (BBI:blockbuster inc) shares were down 74 cents at 22 cents before trading on the shares was halted. The stock already has fallen 93% in the past year. The business faced serious challenges even before the worldwide economic collapse, which has made consumers more cost-conscious |

I live in the Washington DC area and for the first time I have had a significant delay in movies being shipped. Maybe it's not just me. Typically turn around is the same day or one day, but now its been four days (counting the day reported online that they received it) and I am still waiting for a movie to be shipped. I sent an email to customer support. We will see what happens. I own shares in Blockbuster (yeah, that drop to 0.22 hurt) so for my benefit and theirs I hope this is just a temporary glitch. If this is longer lasting, it's back to Netflix for me and I doubt I will be alone.

Blockbuster has now STOPPED shipping me any movies from my queue. My queue is full, it says the next three movies are available, and yet for over 15 days now I haven't been sent even 1 movie from the queue. I've e-mailed Blockbuster three times now and so far, nothing. It seems as if the economy may have caused them to break the law and now they aren't shipping movies to people but they are still certainly charging my credit card. Beware of Blockbuster online as if they are resorting to these desperate measures by ripping off their customers then they may be going bankrupt sometime very, very soon. Blockbuster is pathetic!

Judged:
1 Seems like they have a new 'secret' policy that if you rent movies from a store, they won't send you movies from your queue. They said they informed everyone of this, but I was never informed and no one I know who uses Blockbuster online ever received any 'notification'. I was then told the notification should be at the top of the queue, but there is no such notification at the top of the queue. Hence, Blockbuster is STEALING money from people and are outright lying to them. Do not trust Blockbuster as they are crooks and have deceptive policies meant to take your money without providing any service. I agree... Lackluster is like totally pathetic. |

Blockbuster queue is TERRIBLE. I am thinking about switching to Netplix

Blockbuster has become very very slow to the point that they are not honoring the terms of my plan. I returned my movies on Saturday morning at the store. They marked them returned immediately and I received confirmation emails on Monday that the center had received the mailed discs. Today is Tuesday 7PM and still nothing has been sent out to me. I have a 3 at a time program and for 3 days nothing has been out. It appears they are delaying shipments in order to reduce costs and stay in business. At this point they are worse than Netflix who is making $$. I should also mention I have 20 available DVD's in my que. Ship by the next business day...the courts do not define this as weekday but days the business is open...Blockbuster stores are open everyday while the online can ship all but Sun.

I too have been having problems with shipments. When I first signed up, movies received online could be returned at the local store and shipments would be sent out the same day as the mailer was received by the local store. Then they said the next DVD would be shipped the next business day. Then they said the next business day does not include Monday when they have "limited shipments". Then they said the movies for which I had exchanged online DVDs had to be returned before the next shipment would occur. Within the past 7 days I have returned 3 DVDs which I had obtained by exchanging mailers last weekend and it's now Thursday and no movies shipped Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or today. I'm told they are having "distribution problems" with their Pittsburgh center...an excuse they have been using for two month!!!!! Can we say "Throttling"? That's when they limit shipments - much like Netflix did until they were taken to court. Sounds like Blockbuster needs a court day also!!!!
|
||||
I want to add that they did not ship anything out until the following Wed...so about 9 days since the DVD's were returned...excuse problems with the Chicago distribution center....appears to be a generic excuse based on reading the boards...I now have another open slot going on 8 days. |
||||
|
Same issues here in WV where Blockbuster isn't sending movies for 3-9 days although 20+ movies are in the queue. When calling them, customer service reports that having any movies that aren't "available now" in the top slots will result in shipment delays. Time to switch to Netflix. Blockbuster users are being scammed.
PS. I also suffered the January "can't access queue" problem. |
