bottomline, they follow protectionistic trade policies to protect themselves. nations including america have deficits with them.

now, I'm not saying they shouldn't pursue protectionistic trade policies. that is what governments are suppose to do. right?

protect their own people.

problem is - the usa government is not doing this.

allowing select choice companies into their country to market their products in a "fair manner" is not free trade. not by a long shot.

china has to do a lot more before we should be signing free trade agreements with them. a hell of a lot more.

otherwise, we should bring back the outsourced jobs, and the factories. PERIOD.

like china, we should be more concerned about the welfare of our own people before we start risking our livilhoods with another.

commonsense.

Can a Super Self-Hating Asian Male Icon Help Asian America?

Winston Wu ( http://www.winston-wu.com/ ), a self hating White worshipping trainwreck of an Asian guy who loves to bash Asian culture and date women in poor countries, who has a small internet following and sells e-books.

I think that contrary to some who want to bury this guy, that maybe what America needs is a high profile super self hating Asian American male icon. We have Lucy Liu, Bai Ling, Amy Tan, Tila Tequila, who in my opinion have helped to get more unaware Asian American males upset initially but ultimately be more aware and knowledgeable and activist. I think the same thing will happen if we have a super self hating Asian guy in American film or TV.

Also, I think an Asian American icon needs to be made an example of, the same way Black comedians call out and make fun of Michael Jackson (for his White worship). While it's great to push for more 3-d normal diverse images, I think we also need a complete joke of a self-hating Asian American icon out there so that unaware Asian Americans get educated.

I feel that some Asian Americans won't open their eyes until they see a super self hating Asian male, instead of a female, in media. Basically, instead of Will Hung who is famous due to bad singing, how about an Asian male icon who is famous for his self hating White worshipping Uncle Tom-ness. Thoughts?

what are you? an FOB?

if you think being american is being "white", you don't know jack shit.

if you don't see yourself as american, maybe you should go back to where you think you belong?

as for china, they don't give a damn about chinese americans. we are second rate citizens to them. I've been there many times, and let me tell you this, bro. they don't see me as chinese one bit at all. the nickname they give us chinese americans is "joke thin". yeah. it's suppose to be derogatory.

now, if you think "we" chinese americans should forsake our country of birth for mainland china, go screw yourself, traitor.

the only person who says anything about china trade is trump?

open your ears for christ sake.

hell. open your eyes. all these economic problems we are having started when we started with the outsourcing and the building of factories overseas.

ask yourself... why is it that we are not selling all the stuff that the economists predicted we would be selling when we increased our markets with china, india, and the rest of the world?

conservatively, we should be seeing a 10x fold increase in the sale of our products to the rest of the world. china and india alone is a market of 3 billion.

why, with our movies, music, and drugs, we should be flush in cash from all the sales the economists say we would be experiencing.

I remember the lying politicians and economists saying that for every job we outsourced, another NEW job would be created in america for an american. so, we didn't need to fear losing jobs to the outsourcing.

talk about a con job.

bring back the jobs and factories and it would stand to reason that the unemployment would go away. commonsense.
