Barnes & Noble shares surge on Microsoft deal

IOW, Barnes & Noble helps MicroSoft gain further inroads into everything electronic, while MicroSoft helps Barnes & Noble keep selling out the print media. And both make tons of money doing it.

A win win! For them. For everyone else, including book lovers - not so much.
