Berkshires only Tarp bank is Berkshire Bank. What a scarlet letter for our county. Give us back our tax dollars and lower your salaries.

They are supposedly giving it back....because of the limitations taking TARP money has on the CEO's annual bonus. I started out at Berkshire bank when I first moved here.... nice tellers but worst service (loan department) I'd ever experienced. It was around the time they were expanding into New York state. Considering Legacy bank hasn't made money in two years, it's interesting them on the list.

Looks like our Tarp bank and Legacy CEOS pay themselves huge salaries and bonuses for being a Tarp bank in one case and a money losing bank in another case. Hope their directors take corrective action and lower these huge salaries and benefits.

Are the directors asleep. Taking taxpayers money and taking huge salaries. Losing millions and taking huge salaries. At least Pittsfield has Greylock Credit Union which serves the citizens of Pittsfield without taking their tax dollars.
