Someone on another forum posted "why can't BA create a separate cabin for those that want to be charged for everything separately.

I think I am in agreement with this one. The trick is to do so without having to mix the two classes of traveler in the same airport setting.

Perhaps BA could put wooden benches downstairs in the terminal for those that want to pay for everything such as the Americans one pound at a time, thus leaving the upstairs for the civilized folks who think traveling should be part of the adventure.

You are so right BA is becoming Americanized what a shame to want to be like our crowded and uncomfortable, nickel and diming, air transportation system.

They do it's called First, and/or Business class. Then Coach/tourist for those who want to be nickeled and dimed

Well that is a good point Prost, but something just a little more reasonable but along the lines of an upgraded coach product, rather than the business class seat that is still unattainable to many of regular civilized masses.
