Poor Richard,

The battle lines are changing. Start crying wolf now that the competion stiffens against Virgin Atlantic.

Richard seems to forget that he muddied up the U.S. waters with Virgin America that hasn't done too well. I didn't hear any of the U.S. carriers running to the president or congress belly aching about unfair competion when Virgin America started service here in the states.

Maybe Poor Richard should return to compiling almanacs.

Virgin America is an American owned company not controlled by Sir Richard Branson, isn't it? Just ask Don Carty.

If its looks like a Virgin then its a ......., I bet there is more than just a small percentage of stock influence from Sir Richard. Anyways the combination of BA and AA would probably push more international combinations. I'm not sure that would be a bad thing. What I would worry about would be that the first true global carrier would take away alot of US jobs and farm them out to the cheapest country.
