I am so disappointed in BA staff as they are being too greedy. We live in a very different world and they should be happy they have a job. They are going to drive BA into bankruptcy when they'll have no job and no pension. They will also impact all of BAs partners. If they are so naive maybe they don't deserve to be employed, there are many people who would love their jobs at current rates.

As a Brit I'm disappointed in my fellow countrymen being so selfish and sorry to say so stupid.

BA management should do what Lee Kuan Yew did with Singapore Airlines when they wanted to go on strike back in the 70s. Threaten to shut the company down, fire everybody, and everybody goes home empty-handed. Miraculously, there was no strike...

At least they have the legal right to strike at any time. Here you can't unless the airline has time to hire scabs.

As a Brit I am terribly disappointed that you have decided to condemn what you obviously know nothing of what you speak. The FA's @ BA are a hard working, proud group of people that know precisely what they have and that is why they are not going to allow Mgmt to make such horrible decisions w/ out a fight. 90% plus voted in favour and that is historic.

This is EXACTLY the kind of thing that is DESTROYING the good 'ol US of A! Since when does the azz end of a donkey tell the head what to do?!?! It is UNAMERICAN! I would not have been tolerated not coming to work because of my low pay when I was a teacher! We cannot strike in the Great State of Texas! Thank GOD! Nothing like this would have happened under George W. Bush's watch, and certainly not his father's! If you have a job and want to keep it you WORK! Plain and simple! If not then do what this bunch of liberals in Britain are doing! Communist tactics! It is deplorable and resfuse to speak of such disgusting things because, they simply DISGUST ME! Get to work you d@mn bunch of deadbeat liberals! You are ruining MY country now!
