Autodesk posts first-quarter loss, plans job cuts

The post office has even cut 25,000 employees over the last 12 months & expects to cut up to 150,000 employees over the near term.
My neighbor just purchased his house last year when "things hit bottom" ..... and he already has lost $180,000 in fallen equity. AND... the bottom isn't here, yet, obviously.

What a downer headline for a release that was great news and which ran the stock up in the market. The key figures--adjusted revenue was 18 cps, compared with expectations of 8 cps, are buried and not further written about at all. The last graph even mentions the stock surge, but no effort is made to explain it or relate it to the numbers. And the headline writer just hit the "loss" and "job cuts" points--both fully expected and really just "old news". Groan.
