Profit falls 9.3% at Autodesk; staff cuts planned

What about the layoff today, Thursday, August 23rd, of 500 people at Autodesk? Is that another bullshit move to make the stock go up? They are hiding this by keeping people for up to two months, but they are moving departments out of Northern Calif.
Some are going to Canada and elsewhere.
Corporations don't really give a shit about their workers. It seems there 1st way to deal with a reduction in revenue or growth is to cut head count. I have a friend tht was there 15 years and now she is toast

This company would not exist if it didn't have cash on hand to make acquisitions to stay relevant. There is no innovation and the leadership is poor.
"To the cloud!" whatever... So many good people have left or been laid off. All thats left is incompetent management.
