Hi, I am using the AVRISP mkII usb programming module to program the Atmega8 16AI with no problems. Recently we received the Atmega8 16AU, which is the pb alternative, & cannot seem to program them. The programmer does not recognise the part.
I have upgraded AVR Studio to the latest version & flashed the AVRISP mkII to the latest firmware (v1.06) Has anyone seen this before? |

worst case: burnt chip
best case: incorrect set fuses in the new chip preventing it to start the resonator.(google atmega fuse recovery) |
