"Hey Fred..what's the company doing with the older workers?"

"Well Tom..we're trying to sucker them into staying longer by offering

them useless perks & meager pay increases. If they stay longer maybe

they'll die on the job & we won't have to pay them any retirements benefits

at all & the company saves a bundle & I get a bonus for thinking this up."
