The national average annual salary is around $50K, so minimum wages needs to be at least $25/hr. You know, to be fair.

how stupid will America get? what good will a raise do in bankrupt America. Raise the wages, layoffs begin , part time jobs begin. some companies will shut down. prices of goods will double. I cannot believe these idiots do not understand this. They are pointing mostly at the poor people's store , Walmart, Target.

Why not make the minimum wage $1 million a year? That way everyone will be a millionaire.
