Those of us in Columbus recall when the "merger" of Arvin and Meritor was announced- and the then CEO of Arvin got a very nice multi-million dollar package a year or so later, and blew out of town, rarely seen here again.
Too bad, the company had been well respected here for many years.

This company can not have two headquarters.(Columbus IN & Detroit MI) I suspect they will be headquartered in Michigan and this is all public relations spin.

They are saying the same thing about the ADESA merger. Appears that headquarters is going to Chicago!

PS
Didn't they call the Meritor/Arvin deal a merger of equals? As I recall, within a year all the headquarters staff either left the company or went to Detroit.

It could work out for the best, but its doubtful.
The guy who is running the exhaust business now knows nothing about the industry and helped bankrupt the last company he ran. The only reason he got the job was because he is a "Buddy" of Chip!
The ARVIN employees will NEVER forget what Bill Hunt did to our company and our community! All of this mess is totally 100% his fault!
