Austin needed a new Christian station that had good reception. I was thrilled to hear it was coming. I have lived in Austin for 5 years and had given up on the other Christian stations in town. However, after listening to The River since it started, I am already bored; as is my 10 year old son. There are SO MANY great artists out there that are more TODAY, but I don't hear you play them. Instead, it is like a blast from the past- SO YESTERDAY! Austin truly needs this station, but you won't keep interest long if you don't update the play list. Austin already has a "family friendly" station that plays soft rock. Though the message is different on The River, the feel is about the same. Stand Out, Be different, give us contemporary Christian music that energizes us through our day. Don't put us to sleep! I would love a response. Susan
