It is my understanding that many more people were without power than the "just several" reported.

A good portion of South Bluefield was without power from just before 11pm until nearly 5 AM....so there was many many more than "just a few" whatever the media...paper or tv they are rarely if EVER near accurate with information more OPINION than FACT.

I went over and read the daily tell a lie report between the paper and the sorry wvva neither ever report accurately. There were more than "a few" customers out of power.Eastern South Bluefield was all out and possibly college as well as they are served from that same circuit AND the recloser at the APCO substation cycled -locked out- and shut down the entire line circuit.I live high up on the hill above Bland RD and saw and heard the arc from the lines as the recloser tried to reset and clear the fault....as a result I could see NO LIGHT whatsoever in the entire eastern part of south Bluefield.

GOOD I AM SO GLAD....this is a nice area and some drive like nuts up and down that stretch...the lower end near Parkway seems to always get slammed with idoits hitting the utility poles and running up onto the sidewalks-hitting the walls or whatever is there.

I live above Bland Rd and walk through that area several times a day-have had to jump away from out of control cars on that road.
