The morning call should check thier story a little. The stock for whatever reason did not go up it went down 3.85 yesterday. How can they make that kind of mistake?

Yes they will and as long as their stocks keep going up they will cut costs and stretch budgets as much as they can. Even hiring contractors is a good decision as they don't have to pay for 401k or benefits, they just pay them a little bit more. And if the contractors make a mistake they can be replaced fast and easily by another person at the door. The days are gone that we will see comapanies hiring employees for "IT" as it is cost effective for them to pay a little more and not pay for benefits. If there is outsouring they don't have to pay for severence either. So Hiring Contractors get your information straight before posting comments like that.

Business lesson 101, Never knock a business that actually makes a profit! Most do not and fail.
Air Products has been doing many things right from Leonard Poole, Edward Donley, Dexter Baker, Hap Wager, Jim Jones, and now the new man in charge. In every case, the CEO has left a company that had a greater enterprise value than the predecessor. The Lehigh Valley should be so lucky to have one organization with so much talent. Getting this big and staying profitable is not an easy task, but they are figuring out how to survive globally!
The other companies of the Lehigh Valley should pay Air Products a consulting fee for how they survived, but it is too late for Agere, Bethlehem Steel, and Mack Trucks.

Another company making profit? Corporate greed!

Yes, they make about 12% net profit. That's more than any of the Big Oil companies. How come no one is screaming about price gouging and calling for windfall profits taxes and congressional investigations? Because it's a reasonable profit....
