FIJI'S military ruler claims Australia once threatened to invade Fiji?
Fiji Military is starving the people, closed the TV Stations, and now anyone who is not a member of the religion of the Imagration Minister are been persecuted and send to prison for reading the Bible. The only people that are allow to read the Bible and pray to God are the people that belongs to the religion of the Imagration Minister. Fiji gets US$700 Million dollars a year from the Australian Government to feed the people of Fiji but now Bainimarama is refucing to feed the people who are not members of the religion of his Imagration Minister. If Australia and the other countries of the Commonwealth does not invade Fiji as soon as possible to arrest the corrupt military Bainimarama it will cost $Billions of dollars and thousands of Fiji people will come by boat to Australia, so more $Billiosn will have to be spend. Suspended Fiji from the Pacific region's trade and diplomatic group from Saturday for refusing to restore democracy is not enough. People has the right to eat and feed their children and no one should send them to prison for reading the Bible and praying to God. Fiji has to be Nuked so that they do not inspire other corrupt Military to persecute the people. |

1 (1) Improve your English. (2) None of the TV stations in Fiji have been closed down. Please name one TV station that was closed down in Fiji. Fiji TV, PBS and Mai TV are all still running. (3) How is the military starving the people in Fiji? (4) What "Imagration Minister" are you talking about? Any person has the freedom to follow any religion in Fiji. Please name a person who got sent to prison for reading the Bible? Do you realize that Frank Bainimarama is a Christian himself? (5) The citizens of Fiji don't actually depend on Australian funds. We can go on without it. We have survived in the past without Australian funds and we can still survive today. Australia and New Zealand are scared because the 2 countries fear losing Fiji to Chinese and Indian funds. That way Australia and New Zealand won't have much say in the affairs of Fiji. (6) None of the Fiji Citizens are interested in going to Australia as "boat people". A clown like you thinks that we have UN tanks running around Fiji. What you are trying to say is that Fiji is a place like Iraq where bombs explode almost everyday. You seem to assume that there is a war going on in Fiji. (7) Please explain to me why is Australia so concerned about the political situation in Fiji? Is Australia trying to show the world that it has influence over the Pacific nations just like the US has influence over South American and Middle Eastern countries? Right now Australia and New Zealand are too small and not powerful enough to have any sort of influence on Fiji. Australia and New Zealand are in no way the America of the South Pacific. Just what the hell are Australia and New Zealand trying to achieve anyway? It would look better if the two countries focus on their other important issues. |

(8) "corrupt military Bainimarama"? I don't think so. This is what the Military Government did for Fiji up till now which none of the previous governments were able to achieve (copied from another thread): TV Industry: Free-to-air monopoly breaks. Mai TV starts operations, creates 20 jobs. PBS, Telai vision and Channel 2 are given free-to-air licenses. A new German tv station is to open. Telecommunications: Telecom monopoly breaks. Inkk and Digicel start their services. Both create jobs. Digicel created over 10000 jobs in Fiji. Transportation: The bus fare charged to school children by bus operators was removed. School children receive free bus service. Oil: A new bio fuel plant is to open and create jobs. It will use cassava to produce fuel, Indigenous Fijians have a new source of income. Indigenous Fijians will receive rent on their land used. It will reduce the amount Fiji spends on oil imports. It will reduce the price of oil/petrol/fuel/others. Power: A new plant is to start at Nasinu and it will create over 200 jobs. It will use rubbish like wood and block to create new wood, block and electricity. Cost of wood and block will decrease because it won't always be imported. Nasinu town council doesn't have to use and pay for Naboro anymore. Natadola Project: Development at Natadola has already started and created jobs. Denarau Project: The project has already been completed. Millions of dollars will be made from the property sold. If you have a brain, you will realize that the so-called "corrupt military Bainimarama" has done more good than bad for the people of Fiji. Everything that his government achieved was only thought of being achieved by the previous governments. Perhaps reading this will help your brain to develop: http://www.stuff.co.nz/world/46919 |

Then who said they were going to Australia? I don't see them anywhere leaving in large numbers as refugees at all. |
Now please proof yourself right by showing evidence that a large number of people from Fiji want to live in Australia as refugees? If that was true, wouldn't hundreds of boats full of people (refugees) have been going to Australia from Fiji? |
I meant to write prove, and not proof above.
good to hear, we have enough problems with sri lankans and afganis. |
When they leave, point the boats towards China. It is heaven there. |
