Ansys 11 crack

yahooo.... finally i manage to install ansys into my pc..
below are some mistakes i made the last 2 days trying to install the ansys:

-ensure your computer is free from antivirus, turn off t he windows firewall as well. the best thing is to reformat your pc if u are unable to unistall the antivirus.. and after reinstall the windows, make sure you turn off the firewall. im using windows xp sp2.. for those who using the lasest windows like vista..sorry i have no idea..

-installing this ansys version from magnitude will have aproblem if u are using a network computer or in a laptop.. my advice is to install them on desktop or in a laptop without any network connection
-just follow the step below, which i manage to rearrange and make it clear for dummies.. specially made by combining all info from this page from page 1 to 11.. huhuhu..

Step-by-step:
1. Install Ansys 11 (click on “autoexec.exe”->Install Products-> Ansys Products).
- Do change the installation directory from C:Program Files\ANSYS Inc to  C:\ANSYS Inc
- Click next…for the features.. do not change anything
- Click “no” when the display ask for installing the license management.
2. Again click on “autoexec.exe”->now click to install “Install License Management”(autoexec.exe->I nstall Products-> ANSYS FLEXIm Licensing
-this a license server machine? Say No
-Continue to configure this system to be a client system? Say Yes
-Select 1 license server
-Port:1055
-HostName:“click on the display licence host id” from “AutoExec” icon in the CD to get the hostname and host ID/Flexid
-UnCheck Take the ANSYS Survey
-Continue to install license manager
-Close everthing

3. Copy a110sp1_calc.exe on desktop
-Run a110sp1_calc.exe
- Do you want a license for current host? Say No (N)
-Enter target host name:
-Enter target host ID (FlexID):

a110sp1_calc.exe will create license.dat file on desktop
-Copy this license.dat file to folder C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing (although earlier we install the ansys in to C:\ANSYS Inc directory, but the licencing will fall in the program files…

4. Copy ansyslmd32.exe and lmgrd32.exe from DVD to folder C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing\intel
-Rename these files to ansyslmd.exe and lmgrd.exe

5. Run LMTOOLS Utility (from start menuprogram files ANSYS FLEXIm License manager LM TOOLS utility
-Tab 1: Service License file; check to box LMTOOLS ignores license...
-Tab 7: Config services;
a. REMOVE all existing services
b. Service Name will be then default to "Flexlm service1"
c. Path to the lmgrd.exe file browse to C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing\intel
d. Path to the license file browse to C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing (change files type to .dat  then only you’ll find the license file)
e. Check Use Services
f. Check Start servive at power up
g. SAVE service

-Tab 4: Start/Stop/Reread Service; select ansysy and click Start Server
-Tab 5: Server Status; Perform Status Enquiry
If there is any expression includes Error; I don't know what to do?
-Close LMTOOLS

6.ReStart

7. Hope for God mercy and pray for a luck…
- Run Ansys Product Launcher
-Select License
-Browse working Directory & Job Name
-Click Run

that is all I did.. syam..it works.. if still not ok.. then you need to try to install in fresh pc.. without antivirus.. without network.. just windos xp sp1 or 2

specify path to the lmgrd.exe file: X:program files\Ansys\Shared\Licensing\i ntel\lmgrd.exe
specify path to license file:X:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing\license.dat
SAVE
7. Restart your pc
8. You sould be able to open Ansys and Workbench

I tryed to install Ansys.11 5 times today and licence is killing me!!!! So I'll try this now :)

so I cannot see flexid and type id...Why????

Two questions, I too am getting the Generic9.abeu trojen from my antivirus on the a110sp1_calc.exe file.

Has anyone run this and actually 'got' a virus from it?

Also why does Imgrd.exe have to connect to the net? Is it going someplace that I don't want it to go?? Putting my IP on a list that I don't want it on?

I have an iso for ANSYS 11.. and iv tried everything. Completely followed hugo boss and included kasthybady's steps. Still not working.. it says "cant find package Iwidgets 3.. blahblah"
Fuckn pissed off..

Oh yes!!! I did it!!!

I followed Hugo Bos's instructions but it still didn´t work. The problem was that the license manager wasn't on. What I did (after copying the lmgrd.exe and ansyslmd.exe from the DVD to /path.../intel because they weren't there) is run this lmgrd.exe in a comand window. So I executed cmd (in run) and then got to the intel directory and run "lmgrd.exe -z".

The thing is that the license manager tried to look for the license.dat in the wrong directory. For me it pointed at C:\flexlm\license.dat.

So what I did is create that folder and copy there my license.dat and now it works!!!!!!!!!!

I´ve wasted like 8 hours of my life on this... and I don´t want you to do the same guys.
