guys i have modelled a aluminium cantilever beam with pzt(piezoelectric material) patch on the top surface as actuator. I have to do a harmonic analysis. For that, i have applied mechanicl load of 1 N. My Problem is applying electric load(voltage). i have applied voltage at boundary but it has no effect on the analysis.
* can anyone help me how to apply voltage to the pzt patch?
* How to couple the structural and electric field?

you must apply a positive voltage on one side of the geometry and a zero voltage on the other side.

sr, can i ask you some question? how can i get the impedance of pzt?

To display the impedance result you need to ask for the save of
MAPDL database in the “Analysis Settings” of the model before the
resolution
