I have modelled a yacht mast with the shrouds(cables) using Link10 element connected to spreaders halfway up the mast, the spreaders are essentially beams so used Beam4 element and connected them all. But no matter what force you apply to the model the lines with link10 element go zig zaggy as if slack? How do you get them to be tight? Is there a way of uploading the file?
