i have been wearing abercrombie and fitch since i was 17 years old, i am now 21. i have at least 25 t-shirts, 4 or 5 hoodies and a few jumpers which all fit perfectly!

my brother is just back from america (we live in ireland) and spent over $700 on clothes going by the sizes we all gave him (his fiance, friend,me and my sister)- all female. he arrived back yesterday and to our surprise not one item of clothing fitted us!!! i have always been a medium in abercrombie clothes, i am a medium, sometimes small in all uk clothes and i strugled to get the large to fit me!! my sister who is a size 12 could not get one item to fit her even though all the abercrombie clothes she already has fit her perfectly.

have they changed there sizing!?!?!? or what the hell is going on?!!??! yes, we may have been taking a risk getting clothes without trying them on but we assumed the size would be the same as it has been before for years, no?

when america has thee most obeses and over weight people in the world why is their size large not even fitting people who are normally medium in every other brand?

this is seriously bad, what kind of impression are they giving to young girls who will think they are "large" when infact they are slim. its a disgrace. who exactly are they aiming there clothes for?

Cady-
I work at an Abercrombie & Fitch in Connecticut, and I ended up having the same problem. I have always been a small, sometimes a medium, and out of nowhere those sizes in the new clothes we were getting in didnt fit (and i def. didn't gain weight). The company did change their sizing, so everything fits one size smaller now (a medium fits like a small, a small like an xs, etc). From what i know, they got a ton of complaints both from employees and consumers, so I'm pretty sure they have been slowly changing the sizes back (ive noticed a lot of the new clothes fit the way they should now). They also changed the styles of the jeans a little bit, the sizes are still the same but they look a lot different. Anyway, my best advice would be to call the customer service number or send them an email to find out how you can go about exchanging everything. I know it sucks, trust me you weren't the only person that happened to. sorry and good luck!

Who cares if they dont fit u guys. Abercrombie is the best store in Canada even though the cloths can be a bit pricey. The reason why they probally changed the sizeing was because the models were thin so they thought that everyone else wearing there clothing would be thin 2.

No, actualy, i do no anf, better than anyone on this site. I work with home office in the newfaces dept (marketing), and we currently own over 15 peices of real-estate in the UK, and a very large facility in Tokyo, all of which are in the process of being finished. Our next UK locations will be opening in Paris and Dublin very soon,(I can Not Give Out Specific Dates)
