SETS TERMS???? WHAT????
Maybe people have forgotten, but these incompetemt idiots running this company now are also management from before AAL filed for bankruptcy and are responsible for that !
They should not be setting terms for anything as they are are ones losing billions of dollars a year !!!!!

AA will emerge from BK as a solid stand alone carrier. Merger talk is all BS and will be a bad deal for the company and it's employees. No one out there flies to any city that AA doesn't so what are they offering? Alot of the older employees are taking the buyouts and retiring, management is being slashed and maint. and ramp are being outsourced in many cities. This gets rid of alot of lazy and inefficient dead wood that has being dragging the airline down for years. A fresh start!

If you are on a flight from DFW between 6-7AM and the aircraft has a maint. issue you can kiss your connection good-bye. The midnight shift won't work the last hour of their shift and the morning guys have a ritual of eating breakfast in the food court the first hour of their shift.
