I wonder if the existing AMR stock shares will have any value after the delisting. Anyone please?

If history is any indicator. AMR will issue new stock and holders of the old wall paper will receive a percentage of the new stuff, and/or stock for pennies on the dollar of new stuff. If you are a stock holder you lose. The only winners in a BK are the legal teams and consultants.

What a shame. Arpey and Carty took a once proud company that has been in business since the 1930's and even survived during the depression and made it worthless except for penny stocks. All because they didn't man up and show some backbone by not making the changes that will need to be made now.

Stock is worthless. No pennies on the dollar. Nada. BK wipes out all stock vaue. Short sellers are the only ones buying right now to cover.

They will have some value as a speculative investment, however, ultimately the equity is worth zero - rarely, if ever do stockholders in a bankrupt company get anything in the workout, unless of course you own a significant majority share.
