Very Taxing
|
They would tax our underpants if they could get away with it.
The law will be struck down as unconstitutional...
Then, the politicians will try to hoodwink something else to generate the revenue.
Sickening.

More filth brought you by Albany. Where the scum of the earth reside.

Patterson Nightmare
|
In an absurd attempt to find another way to punish New Yorkers for a huge budget deficit, Patterson and his overpaid monkeys in Albany decided to try to reach out and tax only New Yorkers for out of state Internet purchases. This is a federal issue which will undoubtedly get done eventually but Patterson struck a foolish first blow that will obviously cost us, the taxpayers, even more money defending this law that was going to get struck down from inception. Perhaps if the taxpayers weren't funding dozens of phony non-profit organizations or paying for limos for government officials 24/365 we wouldn't have such a huge deficit.

New Jersey, home of the country's largest state cigarette tax, gets customer lists from on-line cigarette company sales and sends out a retro tax bill, often for a five year period and totaling over $5,000. They cite a 1932 obscure smuggling law to whack the already overburdoned residents. They apparently cannot make due with the nearly $800 million a year they already collect. Time for a tea party in the Garden State, and it looks like New Yorkers can join in.

Leave it to NY to need money. I guess the boys in Albany need more money to go whoaing around, and take their wivies on a vacation. Hey why pay with their own money use the taxpayers to pay for their luxuries.

Good for you Amazon. Stick it to them, as Albany has stuck it to us. I pay enough in taxes between property and purchasing from local merchants. Now they want to drain me some more. The new Gov can kiss my A**

Wouldn't be great if the citizens of NY could file a class action law suit against the state for mismanagement of funds(taxes).

Thank you AMAZON!!!!!
New York State, is taxing its residents right out of the state. The government cannot control its own spending or effectively cut costs to balance the budget, so they come up with these quick fix ideas, that hurt the residents of NY. The commuter tax in NYC, if u drive below 81st street u would have to pay (glad they dumped that idea) and now the internet tax. What's next a tax on breathing air?

Get enough people rallied together to refuse to pay any taxes at all and the state would be screwed. they dont have enough jails for everyone. Like I said before Another Boston Tea Party, only this time we get to wreck their limo's and planes. Just remember you people voted the Democraps in I didn't.

New York State needs the extra revenue to pay for the pensions of it's crooked school lawyers. "Taxation without representation". Sowing seeds for a Tax Revolution.
