Amazon sues NY over Internet sales tax collection

Amazon.com is suing New York over a new law that requires out-of-state online companies to collect sales tax from shoppers in New York.

I agree. I like the fact that Amazon doesn't charge tax on my orders and also that they provide free shipping on orders $25 and over. I always buy from Amazon and mostly because of these savings.

New York City should go and f**k itself on this issue. Sales tax is a disgrace anyway - it's just another way for the hoodlums in government to extort more money from us by force.

By insisting that New Yorkers pay the tax no matter where they are purchasing from, we become not citizens but serfs. It's about time for a tax revolution in this country. Taxes for anything more than defense, law enforcement and civil justice are anti-American and unconstitutional.
