WWII memorial defaced in Alaska

Someone threw red paint on a war memorial in Anchorage, Alaska, in what police suspect was a protest tied to the fifth anniversary of the start of the Iraq War. via Daily India

If you catch these non patriots,first they need to clean it up and then be sentenced to military bootcamp,Maybe then they can appreciate our veterans!

A fine idea BDragun. Finally, a real solution for a change. A refreshing alternative to the typical "kill 'em all" comments.
I'm just trying to figure out what was to be gained by defacing WWII memorials? My only guess is that it's somehow related to a white supremacist group.

im not sure what white supremecy has to do with red paint, maybe ill behaved latcheky kids? I just got back from iraq 2 weeks ago, and grew up my whole life in anchorage...I am very proud of my roots, but these kids need t start getting some sort of supervision...for real
