Horizon d/b/a Alaska that is
Horizon d/b/a Horizon
could ultimately be leveraged to compete against the Allegiants, Spirits, Virgins, and Southwests if they were provided with the right equipment in any merger situation with AS / HA.
I really do not buy the Delta Hawaiian merger rumor personally for that will also mean United or US Air / American will have to swallow up Alaska.
Will be intersting to see what happens and the fall out as it does seem Delta may be hedging its bets in the even there is an AMR American Liquidation.
Market share in the airline industry is so interwined as is the search for the next big profit opportunity.
