Hooray! Good luck to Albemarle supervisors. My son and his family just visited the ferry on Sunday. As he said, tourists and other visitors would surely pay at least a couple of dollars per vehicle to travel on the ferry. Keep us posted. Lots of people want to help.

Time to let this one go. Funding things like the Hatton Ferry with public money has been and is absolutely the wrong thing to do. If the public was so in love with this resonable facsimile of what was once the Hatton Ferry, they would flock to cross on it and happily pay a fee consiistent with the cost of operating it to use it. This isn't, in anyway, saving history.
