They always miraculously send us more money than ACPS budgets in so ACPS can cry poverty before that happens thus putting the squeeze on local taxpayers. Where you been all these years..the skit never changes.

It would seem pretty straight forward to me, if Richmond doesn't send the money they should for roads, the county doesn't fix them. If they don't send as much for schools, then cut back there. If the state "mandates" something, then doesn't fund it, you don't do it; there is your reason for not doing it. Some supervisors seem to be "attached" to the commonweal teat.

Just like a politician to patronize its "subjects" with the firm belief we are unwashed and ignorant as to how the tax structure effects usins. At the same time they dream up more ways to squander those same tax dollars we depend on for infrastructure.

People who aren't swayed by money, people who pay attention to the needs of the county as a whole- not the few, people who take the time to read these posts and if necessary, take the time to research an issue before voting, people who can see that the county's "little people" homeowner tax base is going to disappear and the rich certainly aren't going to pay taxes, so you need to adjust and add businesses that aren't "niche" picked. Just a few.

Excellent points. YOU should run for supervisor...you'd make a better one than what we have now. I would vote for you.

The first point about people who aren't swayed by money? Those people are as successful at politics as Ralph Nader.

Totally disagree with you. She is responsive, responsible towards her constituents, and thoughtful about her community. She can stay as long as she likes.
