Is David Brown suggesting moving county residents to city schools? Why would anyone agree to that?

Councilor David Brown says the city and county have a number of places where they can cooperate. "The city has school buildings where we have declining enrollments." Declining enrollments= less need for the money that the county deserves or does the city propose spending it on more "art out of place"?

The people of the county can not take another tax hike, you can not get blood out of a turnip. Those that have jobs are trying to help those that don't. The city always has a surplus of funds, give back the money to the county for its education, you don't need it per David Brown you have space in your schools.

What a typical response from David Brown....raise those taxes!! The city waste so much money. Enrollments declining....perhaps they are moving to the county.

What a typical response from David Brown. The city gave their employees a bonus and county employees are hoping to keep their jobs. The county employees are the same folks who help support the city tax base by shopping in Charlottesville. Surely if unemployment rises in the county the city will be affected. It's time the city began to live on it's own tax base without the millions from the county.
