what the heck is this? What happened to the helicopter they bought a few years ago? If it broke, why didn't they go in on the new $3 million dollar one that the sheriff's department just bought (and you thought tax reform was going to stop Don?)

Exactly! At $2 million dollars a year to dedicate a helicopter to Seminole County over the next 5 years, they can buy 3 and still have enough left over to waste on something else. The county already has free helicopter service NOW, why do they want to pay for it. Call your commissioner, please, ask them to stopr this foolishness. They vote on it by consent agenda Tuesday, ask them to reconsider. Get mad and let your voice be heard.

You are the one that should read. Air methods proposal is on the BCC web site. Look at the cost to the county section and it states that they will charge the county $1250 per hour for non patient flights and 1-2 million per year to dedicate an aircraft to Seminole county. SOMEBODY has to pay and when thre's no patient on board who do you think that SOMEBODY is? I accepet your apology!
