Wow you people who post here are so harsh. This was a legitimate posting from good and talented people who were screwed over by AHM and are trying to make a living. I know them as I worked with them and you have no idea what the situation is so why don't you lay off.

In the early 1990s, I went through back to back corporate lay offs. The first one, the corporation just closed that part of its business. The second one, the corporation was trying to take advantage of the first lay off and hired me as a long term temp. Then once their goal was met, I was laid off again for the second time. For those recently laid off, all I can tell you is try as far as you can to get stable work. Don't take this as a vacation, the longer you are unemployeed the more miserable you will be. Find a job as soon as possible.

Maybe Suffolk County District Attorney Office should into this company, and the Company`s CFO and the President of company of AHM.Way did CFO jump ship, and no one knows where he is.What about the all AHM Worker`s 401K Plan.I think there was something else going on behind closed doors about money.I think alot of money went un-notice.Just think about the AHM employees, and their families. How would you feel if you losted everything in life...Our Local,State, and Federal officers should seize their records and see if there was something going on behind closed doors.

Who cares, how long did you rocket scienist think giving credit to people with no credit history, no employment verification or down payments was going to continue? You think they cared, your company was paying out unbelieveable dividends. These people lived in new homes for two or three basicly for free, they where never going to be able to pay the mortgage once the interest rates changed. The best was the "Interest Only Payment", good thinking on that one.

AHM, IMH, New City, Countywide and Accedited(LEND) all got what you deserved. Pink Slips.

It's not the fault of the company who stayed away from ALL subprime business that is causing the better consumers not to pay their mortgage. It's the STUPID borrower who signed the mountain of disclosures and terms without reading them or asking the LO to explain them or took the mountain of disclosures to an independent expert for review. I remember 20 years ago that you could close a mortgage with only 3 forms signed. Then every consumer rights group cried that everyone was being taken advantage of so now the loan closing takes an hour of signing disclosure after disclosure. If the typical delinquent was more concerned about what they were signing into for the next 30 years (the biggest financial committment of their lives) and not so concerned about who's winning American Idol, than perhaps they would have walked away from the table and stayed in their low rent apartment until they could earn more money to afford an upgrade in housing. Don't crucify the LO who made it possible for someone to buy their first home and have all their dreams come true. Blame the borrower who knew they couldn't afford the loan but bought the castle anyway.
Stated income loans are a joke, but it's the borrower who is stating what they make and signing the application that they are not lying. Basically they are stealing money based on lies about their income. Option Arms are another joke but the consumer knows exacctly what the payment can and will be in the future (the schedule is clearly laid out). They are being negligent to take that loan knowing that they will not be able to afford the payments in the near future. Now they are paying the price and abnoxiously blaming everyone else for their financial troubles. You all asked for dozens of disclosures and got them and you have a 3 day right to rescind after siging the docs but before Refinance loan disburses so you had every opportunity to think about what you were signing and even have independent financial experts review what you signed but you obviously choose not to. Only one person is to blame for your deadbeat actions...YOU!!!!

Gee and all those savy investors who bought all of those mortgage back securities must h ave been idiots to?

We have a crisis caused by a down real estate market. And everyone chips in and helps the loss to everyone involved will be minimized.

It isn't anyones fault the this market has plunged. Nor a homeowner's fault that they cannot refi out of AHM's crap because their LTV is to high, caused by the increasing values.

It is a catch 22 for all.

If you are jobless and have reasonable experience in Information technology chances are you were driven out of job with Indians on Visa/Green card drove you out by playing their tricks. They have no sympathy for you if you are born in USA or have citizenship acquired through legal manner.

I think(sometimes I think should be even taken seriously), if started the super pack for this which legally we can titled “ Snubbed by Indians in USA” and have them put in $10 monthly which would be millionth of penny for them since you know.. We would have Billions in this fund and we can help all those affected by them. Worse than terrorism….
