Tuesday, June 7, in Europe, was the first train running on solar energy, reports Agence France-Presse. According to the agency, the first flight will make eco-friendly train from Paris to Amsterdam.

A good beginning. Another unused good area especially in hot countries like Spain, Portugal, Italy and Turkey are motorways. Additional benefit would be shadow, which would decrease AC use in the cars and therefore result in additional fuel economy.
