HealthNet will always do a better job then Aetna or UnitedHealth Group. Wish our Government knew their facts on these two ins co's. After April,2010, it will be a sad time for our Military. These two companies will not want to pay hardly any claims.-Atleast it will make Aetna and UnitedHealth Group even richer (and untouchable) than they already are and the Government helped this by awarding them the contract. UnitedHealth Group owns United Health Care(UHC) which is the worst insurance company in America! Aetna is not much better either. Our Government should've asked those with experience dealing with these two intities (an out-side party), not put their trust in the company whom is trying to win the bid.

I wouldn't be so sure Health Net would do a better job than Aetna or United Health. Health Net just outsourced Information Technology jobs to Indian programmers - 70% of the IT department was affected. Quality immediately suffered. Health Net had to re-hire some layed-off workers to temporarily keep the ship afloat. Since this outsourcing occurred, there has also been a new standard of English at Health Net, called laughable English, which is now written and spoken by these Indian programmers. No one bothers to correct the grammar. You know what else? These Indian programmers now have access to members' social security numbers and health information. There already have been instances in India where American social security numbers have been sold, but the corrupt government there just swept those under the rug. Health Net officers don't care either because profit is their main goal. I guess Health Net's way of repaying our military is to expose their social security numbers to foreigners.

Actually, HealthNet and Humana subcontract to PGBA in Columbia SC that use 100% US citizens for TRICARE. In addition, everyone is required to be on a secured network and everyone is required to have a security clearance to work on TRICARE. TRICARE cannot be outsourced under current DoD requirements.
