Although this may be on the republican agenda, the EPA was created to "work on other problems" that had been ignored for a century. Your idea is counter productive and counter to advanced research by the institutions of higher learning.

Unfortunately, your comment reflects ignorance similar to parents who will not allow their children to be innoculated against polio, measles, mumps, rubella, tetanus, flu and other contagious diseases. The parents learn too late, if their children contract these dieases and suffer crippling illnesses.

Although you may be willing to live downwind and breathe down draft emissions from a coal fired power plant, please don't expect everyone to agree and be willing to risk long term exposure to mercury, radium and other pollutants.
