Isn't this what is supposed to be done in the planning stages? Poor planning on AEP and the consultants part. Maybe they didn't realize Lane Ave is a busy street.

What is the status of the work on Fishinger Road? Is there any way to get from east to west through Arlington?

i was driving along lane and had to swerve to the other side of the street when a dump truck backed out of the cones without even looking. nice planning AEP now you can be 6 months behind and traffic can be even more messed up while you are paying overtime. i see a rate increase coming.

Not AEP but the contractor and his poor maintenance of traffic.

Precisely. Anywhere else, they would have rammed in big overhead lines like they're doing west of the river. But UA, Dublin, New Albany and Bexley, well they're special.

Did you read the article? They ran into unexpected utility lines. Do you know what's behind the walls in your house? No, because you just never know until you look.

I hope they are going to repave the street. They have left in terrible condition where they have trenched.

Before I demo walls I would check to see what is behind them. I would look at plans and designs. Something called planning instead of cutting corners.

It is a Union safety issue. We need to pay more union employees to get this job done.

Contract workers for AEP have been disrupting my neighborhood on the far east side for the past few months to "improve the quality of our service" by burying new electrical cables. This has involved making the streets difficult to travel and digging a huge hole in my back yard. Last night I saw how well it has worked. My power was off for more than six hours last night. I'm sure happy they made all those improvements.
