Diddle that. We, who purchase their high price electricity, are paying for this, not AEP.

Well, until we find out how to wave a magic wand to make things happen, someone will always be paying. Perhaps better to ask whether this is a worthy endeavor. I vote yes.

Consumers or customers are always the ones who really 'pay' for these kind of feel-good PR stunts so, in this case, AEP can get some b.s. headline like 'AEP tosses lifeline...' when, in reality, this is really nothing out of AEP's 'pocket'...

Nice move. Now PUCO will have no choice but approve new rate increase and secure big bonuses for management

It would appear AEP has lots of loose change jingling around in its jeans pockets that it doesn't know what to do with. PUCO, lower our electricity rates!

Why do I even bother. If someone handed some of you people $100,000, you'd be complaining it wasn't $200,000.

It makes me very angry that AEP is taking money paid to them by people who must use them to get electricity and turning it over to other people for artsy-fartsy stuff. Having electricity is a necessity now and they should not be involved in this socialist activity.
