why are these people blowing their fuses? Mother Nature created this havoc and the workers are doing their darndest to restore power. Why not be upset at the politicians for not using funds to bury cables underground vs. getting 15-20% wage increase. And not only that, the people that are doing the most complaining were NOT prepared themselves for this storm.

Ameren UE managers should take more responsiblity for the result of poor preparations for this storm. The outage this summer was bad but this time it is in excusable. The should be fired or fined or both. Customers were forced to boil in the summer and freeze in the winter. In all this the managers paid while the customers suffered. They should suffer like the customers by losing their jobs.

How are the Ameren UE Mangers supposed to take on more responsibility when our government can't even do it?? It seems everyone is putting the blame on Ameren and Ameren couldn't get assistance to bury lines underground -what's up with that?

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Virgo

It's a rather low-key day with a few disappointments to cope with along the way. If you were looking forward to a social event, such as meeting up with friends, it may fail to live up to your expectations. It might even be delayed or postponed through no fault of your own. There could also be problems about how much something is going to cost, forcing you to scale down your plans to make them more affordable.
