My dad for years worked with a charity that suppied and install window a/c's to the poor in the city.

They would have these ancient old people come in and sign up. Then next year would come around and those same old people would be back again wanting another a/c.

When they would get to the home to actually install them there would be all these people living there. Teen girls who have already had babies, with their manicured nails and hair weaves and CELL PHONES. You'd have young men with all their gold bling just "hanging" on the porch living off whatever their girlfriends and their babies can get.

Nobody was WORKING in the home so of course they qualified as "needy" and "poor". Until they start making these people ACCOUNTABLE for every penny of govt aid or charity they get...I'm not giving anymore.

Why aren't these programs out in the rural areas? Whenever I drive in the country I see homes and mobile homes with their windows open when it's 100 degrees outside. Mobile homes heat up fast under the hot sun. I don't get it.
