It's about time that these white collar crooks pay their dues. There are a few more still lurking within ACS, and the SEC should focus on their conduct. Lora Villarreal, Chief People Officer of ACS is also guilty in this. She oversees the Compensation Strategy for top executives. She puts together proposals and memorandum for the Compensation Committee Board to approve. Lora Villarreal is a corrupt, dishonest, money grabbing charlatan.

Now that Lynn Blodgett is at the helm, you are going to see some very interesting changes. Look for his brother Tom to rise very quickly. Lynn being the leader of the Mormon clan in Salt Laky City and Lexington, KY. Tom has even reported directly to Lynn, clearly violating the anti-nepotism clause in the employee handbook. They get to make their own rules. They also have historically screwed up projects, and found some non-Mormons to become the scape goats. Then the cycle repeats.

Interesting to note that ACS took a $51 million hit to compensate existing options holders (Blodgett) after their illegally timed options were adjusted to correct market prices. That’s correct; ACS is making up the difference between what there options were worth when they were back dated illegally and the correct price. Why do these crooks think they are entitled to the back-dated share price? And here’s the real kicker….. This same week ACS announced that they were deferring merit increases to the entire company for six months (With no retroactive pay) as a cost cutting measure. Talk about a kick in the groin to the working folk!

I encourage all to read the official report (Not the watered down version given to employees) none of those implicated were even asked to replay what they stole from the company. Even worse, Former CEO Jeff Rich was also called out, but was “not available for an interview with investigators”….even though he is currently on the ACS payroll as a consultant.

I hope and pray that criminal indictments follow. ACS is one honest audit away from being another Enron!

Lora Villarreal: 2005 80 ELITE HISPANIC WOMEN IN BUSINESS
Deception, this is the same woman intentially intitutes processes to prevent Blacks and Hispanic working class. Who will use her political status to retaliate against those who blow the whistle. She maintains horrible leadership team of unqualifed, dim-witted, arrogant bullies that are well compensated and protected. This enables unethical, illegal practices to plague the organization.

It is hard to fathom that the board of a fortune 500 company would support the nepotism that goes on at ACS. More so, that they approve of the bizarre sermons Lynn Blodgett delivers at client symposiums, kick offs and so forth. Hail the queen! Mrs.B their mother is usually in attendance and honored. Does she actually work for ACS? I havent actually seen her on any org chart. Who is her boss? Or does she just tell her boys what to do and they do it? Isnt this a public company? Do CEO's normally bring their mommy to Company Leadership functions? In all seriousness, the Blodgett and Mormon favoritism creates a corporate culture which supports decisions based on favoritism. So much for achieving a cohesive talented management team.

The only way this kind of thing is going to stop is the day that our illustrious government starts caring about the people they serve instead of whomever gives them the most money. Like that will ever happen.

If only customers like Cigna would leave when things like Tom Blodgett promoting Mark Arntz within ACS immediately after Mark promoted Tom in the church happen, there may be a chance.

Some organization should also go in and do a detailed audit on ACS' HIPAA compliance. Instead of walking around looking at the pretty stones, they should turn a few over and see what they find.

That's kind of the pot calling the kettle black, isn't it? You all are the ones biased against anyone who isn't mormon. When good people don't stand a chance at advancement because they aren't mormon, who is the bigot? When you all made up your religion, you put one too many m's in the name.

Has nothing to do with being a bigot. Has everything to do with corrupt leaders who refer to their employees as ' ARMS and LEGS '.

Promise them raises and renneg on their promises so they can continue to pay senior Execs who got caught with their hands in the cookie jar..

Is that Bigotry or simply unethical conduct?

And the sad thing is that during a recent meeting held by the new top guns at ACS, their responce to the firing of King, was that they were going to freeze all raises to some how get the money back that these jackass's stole from the comapny to avoid layoffs. Well, all raises and reviews have been frozen until at least April, and just this week, more people got laid off. Again, lies, lies, lies. Well, i guess the good thing is that the lovely poeple over seas all got their raises and bonuses. Let it be known ACS TREATS THEIR EMPLOYEES IN THE U.S. LIKE CRAP!!!!! Appealing to the over seas crowd. And they call themselves americans......
Thank god I dont work for these assholes anymore......

Maybe Jeff will hire Mark into his company. Mark will be protected. They'll certainly come up with something. They'll protect each other while they can, and then only care about themselves the rest of the time. Jeff knew what was coming which is why he left.

As Chuck said though, they froze raises for the money they will have to pay to Darwin, Mark, Jeff etc., to make up for them having to give back money for the stock.

What's funny about the India operations is that they don't have anybody here that knows how to spec out a system, so everything they get back they have to rewrite. Ahh, nothing like those savings. That and their chier architect who operates in a complete vacuum. That's why 2+ years later, MCP3 and SIR2000 still don't work.

I am sorry to say that I have been a victim (oops, I mean employee) for the past three years when my previous company was acquired by ACS. Over the years I have worked for several fortune 500 companies. Some good, some not-so-good. ACS is hands-down the absolute worst. ACS treats employees like dirt then lavishes rewards on the idiots at the top. I have never seen such a poorly run operation. The Dallas office must start happy hour at 7:00 AM. These morons continually re-organize so no one will notice what a screwed up operation it is. Then the brain-trust at the top of this pile of human manure steals from the company and takes away the merit increases of the only people propping them up. I pray each and every day the ACS will sell off my division to a competitor. No place can possibly be as corrupt, inept and dishonest as the ACS upper management. Just once Id like to meet King, Rich, or Blodgett face to face. Of course none of them would have the courage to meet with the people they have been stealing from. Cowards, the whole rotten lot of them!

I also am a victim (employee)and have observed and been sodomized (oops victimized) as well. One excellent tact that is used by senior management is connected to increases for the hardworking people carrying their sorry asses. It all starts with the Review Process. They give you a great write-up, which you would expect to result in a nice increase. But... at the end of the session your told ' Sorry you won't be getting a raise this year, because your OVERLY COMPENSATED '.

The people keeping this company going get the crumbs while the idiots at the top are stealing MILLIONS.

I no longer participate in the employee stock purchase plan. I can't afford to be a victim any longer.

The only way to succeed at ACS is to be mormon. That doesn't guarantee it, but comes close. You have to really screw up to get the axe if you are a moron. Ooops, I mean mormon. They promote each other, and then fire non-mormons as scapegoats. Every now and then there is nothing left but a mormon to cut, since no one else exists.
Kash Hatton was their golden boy with SIR, and then SIR2000, but he could barely spell HTML. He was the main designer for SIR. He came up with absolutely nothing on his own. That is why it still doesn't work. He has been on and off of that project multiple times. They had him working from home in Texas for a long time. Yea, with his little kids, he was working hard. You guessed it, he is a moron. I mean, mormon. Then there is Molly. She worked for the LTC in Lexington, KY, and only worked 3 half days a week, which she was paid full time for. She couldn't even spell HTML, but was a lead on SIR for Kash. Ultimately, her husband, who also worked for ACS was transferred to Hawaii. She was allowed to receive full-time pay for working from home in Hawaii. Yea!! Since she had never produced anything on her own to begin with, you know she was getting paid to take her baby to the beach.
This company violates KY state law with regards to certain benefits, but since they bring in so many jobs, KY looks the other way. KY EEOC looks the other way too. We have the best government money can buy. Of course, the jobs they bring in cycle so many times it isn't even funny.
The only reason companies still use ACS, is because they offer disgustingly low rates, get accepted, product utter crap, but keep working because by this time, moving to another processor would cost even more. What a crock.

For those of you who survived the last go-round of lay offs (RIF's) please be advised that upper management refers to these as 'Cost Containments'.

The Spin Miesters are at it again. These terms are being used to describe the last RIF because senior management said the RIF's were over. It stands to reason that they don't want to make LIARS out of LIARS. So please don't refer to the RIFs as RIFs.

Additionally, it has come to this writers attention that there will be no IT reviews that will exceed a 3.0 rating. Again, a way for them to waver on pay increases. I have also been told that based on your current salary you could see as little as 0.5% for an increase come April. Do you think Rich, King, and or Blodgette et. al. would put up with that kind of crap. Well read it and weep. As stated in another Blog ' Indentured Servitude isn't pretty'

I feel fortunate in that I've been offered another position with another company and will be submitting my resignation very soon. For those of you not so fortunate, I will remember you in my prayers hoping against hope you will all be freed from the chains that bind you soon.

Good Luck and God Bless and a POX on the Spin Miesters.

Well folks it looks like the chickens have come home to roost. Stockholders are filing class action suits. Darwin Deason is being accused of improprieties with pricing stock options and the investigations are continuing. Deason, of course, is playing dumb. Thought he always proporterd to be the greatest businessman in the Fortune 500. He didn't know that his pricing policies for stock options were illegal? That's what his lawyer said. Is ignorance of the law a defense these days? What a joke.
Check out the article in Reuters and the Wall Street Journal today. Darwin Deason has finally been found out (not that we didn't already suspect)that he messed with pricing stock options. Didn't the Corporate investigators claim he was without fault in the whole thing?
I'm sure other's in high places are circleing the wagons as I write this. All the gypsies, tramps and theives are headed for the tall timber. The Sherrif is comming....
Stay tuned folks, we could be on the verge of a mini ENRON.

I stumbled on this message board by accident. I enjoy the comments. Reminds me of the good ole, bad ole days. I was sandbagged by my boss who refused to tell me why I was being canned. The morning of, I was called into a room and told via telephone, "You are being terminated, no discussion, no negotiation." Click. Then they tried to screw me over unemployment (the swipe badge records saved my back side.) Fortunately, my boss a few months later got her own escort off the property in Dallas via security. As for me, I was out or under employed for 2 1/2 years. I even got my CDL and drove a truck with two Master's degrees. I appealed to Blodgett et al. Had good inputs from previous bosses (who left ACS.) No good, I was shafted and I'm a Mormon. I think these guys have been promoted to a general level of incompentency. The business model of ACS sucks. It always will, it can't be otherwise. Too big, too complex and as usual it all rolls down hill. I'm out of HR now.....thank goodness. I encourage everyone to google the "Why we hate HR" article. It's great and true. Hoser HR folks. Another story. Lora V....I knew I was in trouble when the day after I started, I read a memo to all ACS HR about the dress code, OK and then the part about too many cigarette butts in the parking lot in Dallas. With 50K employees, head HR working at this level.....Ah Oh.

I am really concerned over the lack of ethical behavior, when we were suppose to be ethical.
When we were being investigated the SEC They said so what 140 of the top 500 are! Shouldn't we be the ones not being looked at.
