Accenture falls amongst the worst places to be in, two years and my enthusiasm that I had while I was a fresher has completely been lost. My third company, I had worked in two projects where managers are total idiots. 1st one manager doesn't even know the idea of a primary key in a database or what a lib file is. The second manager is the stupid of all. Just goes around bluffing, not even aware of the work done by us and every time before a presentation comes to me to ask the same silly questions that I explained ten times before. I don't know how he has 14 years exp, Yes he is an experienced a$$ licker of the technical manager who doesn't even know the full form of SAP. Of all I have met, 99% are frustrated and want to leave the company. Remaining, are either freshers who eventually get used to the 'Accenture way' Some others are rear lickers who are safeguarded by their bo(a)sses and who are started with a good salary and don't mind the occasional onsite opportunities they get, I knew a girl who came to my earlier project leaving development work and joined testing as she wanted onsite. In my last project, I was unfortunately put into testing while I found her in the same project as developer team lead who has just returned from her third onsite. I knew who she satisfied to get where she wanted.

Fully agree, but let me as where is lost or who deleted whole forum on Accenture horrible working conditions and employee treatments, the discussion with more than 100 opinions called Accenture - the worst company to work for.

I feel after working at Accenture that the work life balance and basic level of values is out of track "horrendously". Even on vacations people chase you and weekends included. Even after working with and tapping almost all customers across the globe Accenture horribly fails to make an impression after aggressive marketing and hiring. Accenture is really poor in managing and nurturing long term relationships, both with the client and employee alike. Hence most contracts are never renewed or it is trimmed and its no wonder that Accenture's attrition rates are the highest in the world.

Accenture is one of the worst places to work with respect to work pressure , hours and treatment of average and junior staff. There some very good senior people and the ability to be involved with interesting and rewarding work for those that wish to devote their life to work. The atmosphere is polite and friendly however pressure and workload can tend to the environment political and can be stressed therefore it generally not a friendly place to work. Pay is fair / good but not considering the output you have to deliver to obtain it.

Join this company and get ready to attend unnecessary mandatory trainings. Even if you happen to miss a training for few minutes, the so called Point of Contacts (POCs) will contact you and ask you reappear for the trainings.
If you decline to move out of the city for another project, you will appear in bad books of the managers and life becomes miserable.
Mangers sit idle all 9 hours of the day and demand the disobedient employees to work for more than 12 hours. I had to prepare reports and send it to him, so that he could send across the same to the Client.

I am going to join accenture january next month. What I found is accenture HR is don't care type. The day I got offer letter 50days after interview it took another 30days to change my joining location although I told in the interview time my desired location. The amount I asked from them, they was agreed during HR round and surprisingly it was Rs. 1 lack less in the offer letter even after agreement during the interview process. I talked to the HR, who informed that they can not give me more than what is mentioned in the offer letter. It was so rude to HR that they do not pick up the calls for even reasoning out. It is better not be join this rude and culture less company before doing the market research....thanks in advance.

I worked for accenture for 5.10 years starting from Jan 2008 to Nov 2013 and I have very bad experience about HR policies and leads.

I left accenture on 13th Nov 2013 and now its more than a month and I still have not received RAL, relieving letter and full settlement from accenture. I am following with HR and team also I have keep senior manager in loop but no reply from accenture.

I want to file a complaint against accenture regarding above.
Please help me if anyone knows that how to get this company on knee

Accenture is playing with many lifes (Especially students at onsite). One of my friends was victim of accenture's ignorance. They promised that they will file H1b on time and they just ignored my friend and my friend was almost out of status and then my friend enrolled as student. I have seen how bad she suffered in begging them to file H1 ( which they promised). Friends I request you all not to get into claws of accenture. You will defiantly will experience what I mean.

To Accenture Management:
What the F..k you people are doing when your consultants are struggling for your help you as..le? Why the hack you people delay even for small things. you people delay even to wash your Ass. When you are earning hell lot of money from new consultants, try to do justice to them.

First of all i would like to give some good news to people who have left Accenture for a better place.
At Accenture attrition is highest and Accenture has become famous for its torturous working environment that people with niche skills are not ready to join this company. the impact - Accenture is losing projects and clients as they are unable to fullfil staffing requirements.

Management and Managing Directors-
The Performance assesment process is setup in such a way that a manager can do anything with an employee's feedback and get away with it. The result is that a hardworking person suffers under a manager with not promotion and even with negative feedback and it is not the case.
Work assignment on client projects or internal project has not basis, the management assigns work which an employee cannot even complete in 16 hours a day. If the job is not done the manager will put the blame on employee that they do not have the skills to complete it in 9 hours and that it will be taken to performance feedback as a negative feedback. The Managing directors pass on new ideas to manager for torturing employees.

HR: While the above is going on the HR (Resource management only , nothing Human about them) is busy working on putting people in PIP and then showing them the door. They are busy threatening employees on bench that if they do not take up any crap project that comes at any location within India they will be shown the door. HR is so active in threatening and talking rudely to employees when they happen to be on bench for a few days that they do not care if the employee has spent even 9 years in this pathetic company.

Manipulation: Accenture is good in manipulating surveys that they are so called 'Most ethical', "Employee friendly" and "Women friendly" and "work life balance" company etc. This is just an eye wash and nothing like this exist in this company. HR turns blind eye when complained about the MD and manager.
The delivery head at India centre openly intimidates and threatens the Leads and employees on a portfolio call, havent seen such a worst working place anywhere.

Anyone planning to join this company ? if yes , then be prepared to work for 16 hours a day and still be threatened by managers every day.

Can anyone disclose how much compensation is given to an accenture management consulting employee if he is travelling onsite to USA. I dont want the exact figure but an approximation would be okay

Accenture sucks even if you get an opportunity there tey in another company or work your ass off in this company for a mere salary and no life and dong mind the bad words u have to listen after working this hard
