Also, they require a graduate degree, which I'm guessing you're only 12 years away from getting!

I seriously wonder how this guy got past the first interview with his incredible communication skills...

Seriously, thinking of accepting an offer I had Accenture but most on this forum seem to scare me away from the place.

Slander is NOT valid criticism

write a detailed version of how accenture cheated, you should write a balanced and fair account of how you got cheated at accenture. not a 3-4 line slanderous post. no one will believe you. a critic should state his reason fully. or else you will be liable for libel, worse, your account/ story will be ignored by the very people you want your version to be heard by.

Yes I fully agree with you. To all potential employees and existing employees - If you want to join Accenture...think a million times. You will never get back the time you lost with Accenture. The feeling at the end of your life with Accenture is of bitterness as you would have been used and thrown like a condom.

And to all existing employees of Accenture - Please leave now. There is a great life out there. Do not be scared of not getting another job. You will be so surprised that it is very much possible to land with a better job that's a million times more rewarding and professional than Assventure. Your happiness is more important than ass licking your seniors. Have a soul and live a life. Make sure you take all the trainings, annual leaves, maternity leave etc just before you leave this inhuman gangster organisation.

Accenture is the Nazi concentration camp of the IT industry ! The work culture, ethics and values are beyond reason. It is a finishing school for tomorrows rogue politicians !
Do not risk your values, dignity, soul by working for this scam IT consultancy !

There has been quite a few comments on the net against Accentureís core values. I just quit yesterday. Its the most wise thing I have done in my life. Its disgusting to experience and observe the horror unfolding in the company. Its just a matter of time when ACN will become another Blue-chip company loosing its clothes in public because of bad corporate practises.

To those who are researching the company before you join them : These days having Accenture experience goes against you in the industry as the entire Tech services sector considers Accenture work culture to be appalling. And hence anyone from Accenture is considered as ĎAIDSí. Iím not being vindictive, just plain frank.

You can bid you skills goodbye by being with them as it is never encouraged. I was in the Manager level after having extensive IT experience in the industry and a degree from Stanford. The politics practised by everyone from team lead and up have made the environment toxic. Which any imbecile knows is a recipe for disaster.

Now that I work for a fantastic financial institution, I really pity the ones still stuck there due to the recession.

Hi, I joined this company and found myself surrounded by a lot of very good people. I have almost 30 years in the workforce and Accenture was by far the best organization I have worked for. Now, don't misunderstand. If you don't have it, it will show and you either get busy, pull your head out of your a$$ and learn or you will get left behind or run over.

It won't be pleasant. There isn't a lot of sympathy for the whiners. And there isn't any for you if you don't produce. As Accenture (US) only hires the top performers, most people coming in are used to being the best in their company or the top of their class. The trouble here is that at Accenture they are simply normal and surrounded by equally talented people.

For the most part it is the first time they have ever had to compete with people who are just as smart and used to succeeding. Most of the people I see leave can't handle that the "hard" work they were used to is nothing like the level of work now expected of them.

Unable to bull$hit their professors or a boss that doesn't know any better, these people find that when the field is level and all the players are good, they just don't have what it takes.

If you want to work with the best, perform against the highest standards and be judged truly capable, then Accenture is for you.

Bullshit. I started at ACN Technology Solutions in March this year with JAVA Jump Start in Kronberg GER. With a 1.3 diploma in digital image processing. The colleagues were fine and we've had bloody partys after work. Then I was pulled out of the Jump Start program by a young manager. My performance before was good. I gave my best (and I'm good), althought my workspace and my tasks were shity. I said to me, never give up. Acctually intending to do some more interesting stuff, but never get the chance to get out of this small, in office Kronberg internal and under ten men sized team. Me was never allowed to see a customer facde to face. In the end this young manager guy convinced my team lead (pussy), cheat me and kicked me out a few days before the end of the probation period. And he hasn't have the eggs to say it to me personal. The better part of the firm is OK, but it is like russian roulett, which projects and buddies you get. Not everyone is as cool as ATS's limelight hog Jack. Shame on their "core-values".

My sincere advice to those still working in Accenture - LEAVE NOW. There is a great and a better world waiting for you outside. This company is a real hell.
