Hii Everybody,

I am a Bac + 5 IT Engineer from France and would like you guys to help me out with some tips and guidance. I have being called for a interview (Recruiting day event) at Accenture Technology Labs, Sophia Antipolis , France. My interview is scheduled in the last week of Feb 2008. I have being told that the interview will last for about 3-4 hours. I would like to know what exactly is the interview process of ATS, Sophia Antipolis France. How should i go about preparing for the interview. Has anyone gone through the process of interview at ATS, Sophia , and if yes could anyone provide me with detailed steps of the interview process and how should i go about preparing for the interview. If there are some who are already working for Accenture France or else some one who has gone through the recruiting day interview process at ATS Sophia, could you please guide me in this process. any help will be highly appreciated. Thanking you all in advance.

I have atteneded an interview in US but not in France. Maybe the procedure is different but this was the process. I hope its helpful to you.
First had technical interview they asked most of the questions related to our job requirments profile. They were not keen into syntax stuff but concentrated more on realtime experiences n processes. Next round was behavioral interview, here they asked most of the situational based questions related to Project managment.

All the best!! hope you make thru it.

Hey, I did their personal interview and they constantly wanted to know what I was thinking and feeling, before, during and after the situation we were discussing. Oh, and they only allowed current situations, nothing beyond 2 years, as they have some strange idea that people can't remember beyond this time. I doubt most people tell the truth, and just feed what they think the interviewer is after. Not a good technique at all, as it fails to allow for any flexibility and individualism what so ever. Ah, but that's what the firm is all about anyway, shaping staff to fit a certain profile so they can use these people to sell their packaged ideas to clients.
One last comment, interviews done by one person tedn to lead to bias ideas of the interviewee. Not a good idea, especially for a firm that prides itself on being fair, but obviously fails to walk the talk.
All the best for your interview and hopefully you'll get what you want. For me, I got out and scored a job with a better firm who treat people as if they have a brain.

Hi, I recently have attended an Accenture interview. It lasted for 2 sessions back to back. Do concentrate on actual real situations from your experience, the challenges around the problems - can be from the project specs, customers, peers, etc.
Would be a good idea not to over sell since the person interviewing can easily make it out but you can definitely articulate where the job should lead you.
Lastly be clear on your priorities and make them clear. All the best - cheers !

You want to join Assventure???

I just quit yesterday. Its the most wise thing I have done in my life. Its disgusting to experience and observe the horror unfolding in the company. Its just a matter of time when ACN will become another Blue-chip company loosing its clothes in public because of bad corporate practises.

To those who are researching the company before you join them : These days having Accenture experience goes against you in the industry as the entire Tech services sector considers Accenture work culture to be appalling. And hence anyone from Accenture is considered as ĎAIDSí. Iím not being vindictive, just plain frank.

You can bid you skills goodbye by being with them as it is never encouraged. I was in the Manager level after having extensive IT experience in the industry and a degree from Stanford. The politics practised by everyone from team lead and up have made the environment toxic. Which any imbecile knows is a recipe for disaster.

Now that I work for a fantastic financial institution, I really pity the ones still stuck there due to the recession.
