No. The economics of it are pure loss and capitalist ideology doesn't do ANYTHING that costs money without return. Ergo, as long as carbon doesn't have a 'price' CCS is a game of propaganda.

And no, the air is NOT fine.

Not as bad as the 'killer smogs' but still not 'fine' except to the brain damaged..

You are not 'fine'. Near as I can tell there is either congenital idiocy or brain damage. Your posts clearly show a cognitive problem of some sort.

The air seems fine to me, smells good to. It's the occasional whiff of exhaust, waste and fertilizer, that I don't like.

The best place to CCS is in the air where it's a perfect fit. I've been breathing all my life, and I've never had any problems dumping CO2 into the atmosphere. It's the cheapest place, too.

Although, I've been known to pay good money for CO2 captured and stored in bottles and cans of mineral water, beer, soda pop and sparkling wine. Let me clue you in on my little secret, after I pop the cork, all the CO2 lands in the air, eventually, where it belongs.

Brian, you'll pay good money alright--to clean up the mess you've so proudly caused.

Pity you won't pay for your dead as well.

That's the problem with your science, in the 176 year history of AGW theory, no one has ever done an experimental test on manmade greenhouse gas and climate. They rested their case when they stopped doing science and started to preach.

Actually, your post is a fine mess as well. And, no, the US has not produced all its own energy for quite some time...in fact, probably not since energy moved beyond campfires.

Converting coal to oil would be a fine idea--if it did not cause quadruple the amount of climate cooking as other fossil fuels. Too bad that it does. Next idea?
