Great, just when someone had remotely decent fares from HSV. I hope this is good news considering how lousy United and American have become..

It has always been more expensive to fly out of Huntsville, no matter how may airlines are here.

Southwest Customers are already loyal enough to drive to Nashville before dawn. Original AirTrans discounted routes were only to 3 cities, and all flights west still needed to go through their hub at Atlanta. Therefore, I believe the AirTrans flight capacity numbers are deceiving as they only reflect people needing to go to BWI, Atlanta, or Orlando.

Let's hope Southwest finds a way to reward the loyalty Huntsville customers have shown by not only driving, but often doing so by being on the road around 4 AM. Perhaps cost effective shuttles to Nashville to eliminate the drive and allow us some more sleep. If that is done, Southwest will not only keep their loyal customers here, but grow that customer base with our deep appreciation.

I have an airport literally 2 miles from my house here in south Huntsville. Why in the world would I want to drive an hour or two, either south or north, to another airport because of airline loyalty? Maybe you have nothing else better to do, but I would appreciate being able to fly where I need to go to from airport in my backyard.
