I fly this route several times a month and this is awful news. I can still use Delta but with the loss of competition fares will go up. It always seemed that the flights were fairly full to full. Wouldn't it make more sense to cut one of the three daily flights first and keep the others to fill up those planes. To totally stop the service is a bad business decision in my opinion. Maybe they should take a lesson from Southwest on how to operate an airline!

This is terrible. I fly back to Moline at least 8 times a year and prefer Airtran over Delta anyday. I hope they reconsider the decision.

Obviously this is how AirTran chooses to treat its Quad City area customer base. How long do you think AT can honestly support exclusive service to Ft. Myers and Orlando? Mark my words, within a year or less, AT will no longer be at the Quad City International Airport.
It's sad, isn't it? I went back to Delta...shouldn't have strayed anyhow. ;-)

Mr White sometimes customer satisfaction is more important then profit. Your flights from Moline to Aylanta have been so helpful to me. I am court ordred to send my 2 boys to visit with their mother 7 times a year. This is not cheap. I am a retired disabled veteran. I have looked at my other options and none of them are are anything that I could come closr to afford or do not let a 14 year old travel with his 11 year old brother or has too long of a layover for them. I have never had to worry about them on airtran. Your employees have always treated them well. I have heard horror stories from other airlines. You would be creating alot of financial strain for alot of people in the Quad city area that are in the same boat im in. I always see parents seeing off their children.
. In this economy struggle you have still been a company I could rely on. Now im having a change of opinion.
I hope someone ,or something could have you rethink your decission. Please be one of the few companies that put your passengers first
