Rember the old adage "you get what you pay for" What happens if you lose commercial power and some one gets hurt and you need to call 911 and the phones don't work, and you do not get good cell phone reception?

APS Backups to the rescue. They work better than IPL in a storm!, but if the power is out, my cordless phone stopped working anyway.

If that does not work, you always have onstar in the car.

the someone that was hurt, might die before emergency vehicles arrive, all because someone wanted to save $50 a month on thier long distance and went with a voip company, no one has ever heard of.
