<quoted text>thanks NYH, it is not that I am reliving anything, it is that I am in fear what he is capable of doing. Just reading the dockets of his text leaving the texts mentioning "dropping bombs" etc. I want him off the streets. I know many children at that daycare and it scares me to death that he would lose it and do something horrid. His text messages I am sure can be "explained away" but his eratic behavior and possible substance abuse is a dangerous mix adding in the loss of income. I pray for the entire family and the church. I dont trust any of the Smiths. I also want to know the abuse of power is going to stop. The family has hurt so many people and stood back and laughed at them. I hope they all pull through but they shall reap what they sow. How many food drives did they have, how many charities did they set up that were not self serving? etc... I could go on all day. I honestly would just like to be able to know the church, school, and daycare are safe.
Curious - Do you really think the children at the daycare and school might not be safe? That really scares me! Should I worry about the safety of my children?

This is such a sad situation and a sad day for our family as we permanently removed our child from the daycare due to the ongoing litigation and uncertainty of BS and his legal and personal actions. The teachers at the daycare are amazing and we hope that this will all be resolved peacefully and sooner than later. It's sad because much of this could have been avoided with proper planning, including a church session made up of elders, approved by a congregational vote. Not a board consisting of the Pastor, spouse, and out of town members. Follow the business structure of the protestants and Catholics. It's not a perfect system but it has back ups in place such as the Presbytery, the diocese, and other governing boards to assist in such matters when something like this occurs within a church. This is very sad because it's the teachers, staff and students who ultimately lose.

i am hoping that he is detained some how. Then there would be no issue. I don't trust him and I wish I could say differently for the sake of the daycare. I believe he has demonstrated that if he can't have it, no one can. I know too many stories of his stalking and harassing people and it has only escalated. I would not be surprised if more restraining orders were filed. I would hope that he didn't take the cowards way out. Many people want to help the Smiths but it is hard to do when they refuse to be accountable and accept responsibility for their actions. I have been praying for them to turn to God. It would be so nice to hear an apology from them with some earnest repentance.

I agree. I have known the Smiths for a long time, and I am not going to comment on Bennett or any of his actions. Just want to point out that there five children in this family, one who is a 13 year old girl. At the end of the day, they are hurting too, their family is being affected and some of them are not at all to blame. For people to get on here and use the word "Smith" so venomously is not necessary. Bennett needs some serious help and hopefully now that this is being handled legally he will get it. BUT this is a still a family that is a part of the body of Christ and they are confused and hurting and need prayer and support. No matter what we all think we know, all of the swirling rumors, guaranteed we don't know what they are going through so please be a bit slower to judge and hate on a family because of BS behavior.
My heart grieves for everyone involved in this situation on both sides, it is just sad. The Lord will carry the Church and the families involved through but He needs us as His agents on earth to listen and be His hands and feet.
Lamentations 3:31-32
"For the Lord will not cast off forever, but, though he cause grief, he will have compassion according to the abundance of his steadfast love; for He does not willingly afflict or grieve the children of men."
You have known them for a long time because I am guessing you are one of them. If you were that close to them, You would acknowledge that there is only one child, the rest are adults that have and should be held accountable for their actions in all of this. Such as any false documentation or misleading statements. This looks like another plea to get sympathy for PS and MS who had no problem benefiting when the going was good.

The consequences of sin affect far more than just the peron who is sinning. In this case it wasn't just one person so the consequeces are more far reaching. Consequences are designed by God to bring the unrepentant person or persons back to Him. Matthew 18 is how we are supposed to deal with unrepentant sin of a person in the the body of Christ.
Most people do not want to deal with sin so they sweep it under the rug and say we just need to love them. Truly loving someone is holding them accountable for their actions based on what the Bible says is sin. This is not judging it is following how God says to deal with it. God loves us enough to hold us accountable so why do we think we shouldn't do things the way God tells us to?

Matthew 18:15-17
15 “Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. 16 But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’[b] 17 And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.
AMEN

Finally someone that knows the word. The staff still has not gone to the church and told the whole truth. Maybe that would help to dismiss any division. Stop playing Church, and start acting in accordance to the word.

Just want opinion about a hypothetical situation.

If law enforcement contacts a person and wants to know a persons location. That person should do what?:

A-Tell law enforcement that they are not in Ohio and proceed directly to get a massage? Hiding in the open is so clever.

B-Pray, repent and reveal my true location?

C-Call a lawyer and blame everyone else?

All answer will be kept in complete confidence. Thanks for taking my survey.

An I am not afraid to post my name because this was God that set all this up... 10 years or so ago.

I received a Word from God to take to BS shortly after he took over at CTK (currently TCAP). Yes, there were others in the room to bear witness. It was either Josh or Eric or both. The Word to BS from God was "Bennett must fall".

Bennett didn't heed the Word. God's word never returns void. The only thing left is will TCAP survive.

Wow--you people need to get a life--seems like all you have to do is humilate this man-why dont you all focus your energy on something positve, and leave this family alone, and quit attacking all of them. The children are not responsible for what their parents do, or what you think they have done-You all are no better than he is your are stalking him as well, just in a different way.--Just saying

Just a question for you--If you were able and had the ability would you employ your children? of course you would-
